The Impact of Nutrition on Periodontal Health

There is a correlation between tooth loss, periodontal health and nutrition. Moreover bone formation and periodontal regeneration are also affected by vitamins, minerals and trace elements. The aim of this review is to understand the relationship of diet, periodontal health and periodontal healing in a more detailed fashion.
