On the occasion of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), Turkmenistan welcomed high-level delegations from Central Asia, marking a day of strategic diplomacy and regional unity. The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held separate meetings with the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, all of whom arrived to participate in the landmark international forum.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and the opportunity to attend LLDC3, emphasizing the importance of the conference in addressing global development challenges. Both leaders praised the growing trade and cooperation between their countries and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties through international platforms.
Meeting with President of Kazakhstan
Chairman Berdimuhamedov greeted President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan at Turkmenbashi International Airport. President Tokayev highlighted the significance of LLDC3 in promoting sustainable development and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of its outcomes. The meeting underscored the shared vision for expanding mutually beneficial relations.

President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan was warmly welcomed by Chairman Berdimuhamedov, who noted Turkmenistan’s dynamic development and commitment to regional cooperation. President Rahmon emphasized the honor of participating in LLDC3 and the importance of the forum in fostering economic growth among landlocked nations.
