The event, hosted at The Hotel Brussels, focused on the theme “From Strategic Dialogue to Bankable Projects: Mobilizing EU Capital for Mongolia’s Priority Sectors.” Discussions centered on transforming political dialogue and economic partnerships into concrete investment projects, particularly in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and sustainable finance.

Senior representatives from the Mongolian government and financial institutions participated in the discussions, including Mongolia’s Deputy Prime Minister and the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Permanent Representative to the European Union. The roundtable also welcomed executives from leading Mongolian companies and representatives of European financial organizations and development institutions.

The initiative was organized in the context of Mongolia’s long-term development strategies, including the country’s Government Action Plan for 2024–2028 and its national Vision-2050 framework. The roundtable aimed to move beyond general dialogue and toward the development of concrete project pipelines, financing structures, and partnerships between Mongolian institutions and European investors.
