As artificial intelligence systems rapidly expand worldwide, most remain built on generic, universal logic. While technically advanced, such models often fail to account for a fundamental reality: decision-making in real societies is shaped not only by algorithms, but by culture, history, social norms, and national experience.

This is where BONU AGI, Uzbekistan’s first national artificial intelligence project, represents a significant step forward.

BONU AGI is designed to analyze questions and tasks through a national, cultural, and social context, rather than relying solely on abstract computational logic. This approach allows the system to better reflect how people in Uzbekistan think, communicate, and interpret information. As a result, BONU AGI positions itself as a serious alternative to foreign AI platforms, not merely as a localized adaptation, but as a context-aware technological solution.

The project was founded by Baxtiyor Bobohonov, Sardorbek Tursunbekov and Otabek Sidikov professionals in their field with strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of both artificial intelligence and local realities. Their work reflects a deliberate effort to combine advanced technology with cultural and societal relevance.

Beyond its technical features, BONU AGI signals a broader transformation in Uzbekistan’s digital trajectory: a shift from passive adoption of external technologies toward the development of indigenous AI capabilities. In a global environment increasingly defined by debates over data sovereignty, technological independence, and cultural representation in AI, such initiatives carry strategic importance.

For effective use, users are encouraged to register, formulate clear and meaningful queries, and maintain respectful interaction. Currently, BONU AGI operates in a free-access mode, providing an open opportunity to explore its functionality and potential.
