Artists from the “Alatau Auenderi” ensemble travelled from Kazakhstan to Brussels to share the authentic sounds of the Kazakh steppe. Their performance transformed the Belgian capital into a musical symbiosis of nomadic and European melodies.

EUReflect had the great honour of attending the solemn Commemoration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People held yesterday on December 3 , 2025 at the Polak Room in the Residence Palace, Brussels. This event, organized by the Mission of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the European Union, was a powerful memorial ceremony paying tribute to the victims of the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza and the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people under the Israeli military occupation. The commemoration also addressed the acute and escalating aggression by far-right Israeli settlers in the West Bank, highlighting their systematic displacement of Palestinian families from their homes. It brought urgent attention to the persistent violence and discriminatory policies characterized by apartheid practices commited by the State of Israel in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
A high-level meeting in Brussels on 28 November placed Armenia firmly at the centre of preparations for next year’s COP17, setting the tone for what is expected to be a pivotal moment in global biodiversity governance. This article analyzes the new geopolitical balance of power that emerged in the South Caucasus following Azerbaijan's November 8th Victory and its implications for the regional security architecture. Employing the Regional Security Complex (RSC) theoretical framework, the paper examines the core dynamics that led to the end of the thirty-year status quo. Our main thesis posits that the post-victory era has eroded traditional Russian hegemony, increased Turkey's strategic influence, and enhanced the agency of regional actors (Azerbaijan). The analysis focuses on peace negotiations, the geopolitics of transportation corridors like the Zangezur Corridor, and the increased intervention of external actors (Iran, EU, US). The article argues that while these changes offer potential for normalization, they also introduce a risk of a new instability cycle driven by corridor disputes and border conflicts, concluding with policy implications for regional stability.
